"Candy" was purchased as a 3 yo green broke riding horse for Bianca, who was 8 years old at the time. Candy was very green and a little head shy, but Bianca did a fantastic job educating her. In 2001 they attended their first shows. At first they started winning in the beginner ring at the local shows, and within two years they were a force to be reckoned with in both the youth and open ring.

Candy's sire "Tranquillity Tequila" was never upgraded as QH stallion (despite his sire Dell Mingo (IMP) being inducted into the Australian NCHA and AQHA Hall Of Fame), and whilst Candy is a purebred QH, she is not eligible for AQHA registration. In so far she was competing for high point awards with ANSA (Australian National Saddlehorse Association).

PROGENY: "Elanora Candy Girl" is the dam of the very well performed mare: Elanora Flamez (NRHA money earner, multiple AQHA awards). Her second foal "Poco Red Venus" will be started under saddle later on in the year. Her third foal "Poco Magic Moon" has just started his Halter carreer in weanling classes.Foal Number 4 is expected in October 2009.

   2006: "Candy" is now retired to stud due to Biancas' study commitments.
